The Bremerton, a Los Angeles class attack sub, was my son Jeff's boat when he
was in the US Navy. He passed away July 27, 2000 at age 35 from Colon cancer. He left me a wonderful daughter-in-law and three fantastic grandsons. He was very proud of the Navy, his boat and the crew he served with. His ashes were buried at sea in a ceremony aboard the Bremerton in December. We spent many hours on the Internet talking "Navy talk" and I shall miss him more than I can say. |
